The Peninsula Yacht Club offers those with an affinity for the water an ideal spot to enjoy Lake Norman. Whether you're embarking on a morning sail, coming into port or simply enjoying the view of Lake Norman from land, this new family-oriented club will make your days by the water even more delightful.
The Clubhouse
The new Clubhouse, opened June 1996, offers both indoor and outdoor dining, including a covered terrace that overlooks the marina. A snack bar is adjacent to the family-sized pool, where you can take a cool dip or swim a few refreshing laps. And kids will never lack for entertainment. An outdoor play area and the teen Room, a hang-out for playing games and socializing, will guarantee hours of fun. The Clubhouse offers a marina store, where members can stock up on boating supplies and snacks they'll need on the water. In addition, four showers and dressing areas will be offered - men's, women's, boy's and girls'.
Dock Facilities
The Peninsula Yacht Club's marina will contain approximately 400 new boat slips ranging in length from 25 to 45 feet. These slips will include electrical and water hook-ups and locker boxes for storage. Access to the fuel dock and pump-out facilities will also be provided.
