Do to the overwhelming problem of Spam and Junk mail, Internet of Salisbury will be implementing a new Spam/Junk Mail filtering program to further combat this situation.

Starting on Monday March 22, 2004 you will continue to receive your emails as usual but will also receive one from our Spam server “NC SPAM KILLER.NET”.  This email is only to remind you that you have Spam Emails in a “Quarantine” folder on our server.  You can either ignore this since they are 99% Spam emails or you can choose to view this Quarantined list.  Directions on how to view this list is located on our Homepages at:  Salisbury.Net

These instructions are detailed and easy to follow so calling for technical support will not be necessary.  NOTE: please do not call Tech Support for instructions on viewing and managing the Quarantined Spam emails.

All legitimate emails will continue to be delivered to you as always so don’t worry.

As for you advanced Internet users… this new server will allow you to manage ALL of your emails whether they are legitimate or Spam.  You can choose to “Deliver”, “Delete”, “White list”, or “Blacklist” these emails as you see fit.  Directions are listed on our homepage.

This new Spam Killer server will help us to eliminate even more of the Junk Mail than before.
